What finishes are available?

Jali offers 24 Paint Colours, Real Oak Veneer, White Primer and Plain MDF. The paint is water based and eco-friendly. Colour & Finish Details

Can I paint my shapes myself?

Of course! For the most affordable option choose plain MDF, which may require a little sanding first. We do not typically edgeband shapes in plain MDF. To give yourself a head start, choose White Primer. Any paint type will do. You can use a brush, a roller or spray. For darker colours, you'll often need more than one coat.

Available options

Adjustable overall size (length and width);

Available in 6mm, 18mm or 30mm thick MDF;

Corners: each corner can be sharp, curved (concave or convex), cutout (square or rectangular) or chamfered (diagonal) to any measurement;

Edges: any number of rectangular cutouts along any of the four edges;

Circular or rectangular cutouts, at any size and positioned anywhere within the shape;

How to make basic shapes

The shapes are all based on a rectangle. However, you can produce different shapes as follows:

Triangles: Start with a rectangle, and apply a chamfer to the top-right corner (to make a right-angled triangle) or to both top corners (for an isosceles triangle).

L-shape:: With a rectangle, make a square or rectangular cutout in one corner. Vary the dimensions of the cutout to adjust the width and height of the legs of the L.
