We do not sell or give away details provided by our customers. If you place an order with us we encrypt your information (name, address and payment details) in a form that no other people, websites or internet users can access. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with GDPR. The paragraphs below explain this in more detail.
If you’re just looking at the website, or trying out the Jali Designer, we don’t collect any personal information about you at all. The site uses cookies stored on your computer, which are essential for the site to work. Your browser has options for reviewing cookies, deleting them and disabling them entirely.
If you want to save a design, we’ll need to store your email address and a password so that you can retrieve the design later.
If you want to place an order, we’ll also need to know your name, address and a telephone number so that we can process the order, deal with any enquiries about it, and send it to you.
This information is retained until you ask us to remove it. Production information about orders is retained indefinitely, but at your request we will disassociate this from any personally-identifiable information, at which point we will no longer be able to access any of your order details.
This website is using Tidio, a chat platform that connects users with Jali customer support. In order to start the chat, we collect your name and email address, only with your consent. The messages and data exchanged are stored within the Tidio application. For more information, please refer to their Privacy Policy. Jali is not making use of these messages or data other than to follow up on users’ registered issues or queries.
Your credit card information is retained only during the checkout process. When you submit your order, the details are forwarded to the credit card company in a securely encrypted format which ensures that no other party can read them.
At the end of the checkout process (whether you have sent the order or not), credit card details are no longer held. We never store them permanently.
Cookies are an essential part of how our site works. By using our site, you consent to the use of these cookies. By amending your computer settings you can stop cookies from being used but this will impair your web experience. As well as our own cookies, we use Google Analytics (a third party) to collect information about general usage of our website, but the information we collect is only used in ways which don’t identify specific individuals.
