TV or not TV
If your big TV is wall-mounted, you could ‘frame’ it with one of our brilliant shelving units, as seen above. Quick to design and fit, a modern wall unit will transform a boring wall into a stylish talking point, and lessen the visual impact of a TV by grouping it with other objects. Backless Shelving
Because shelving units do not have back panels, they fit neatly against back walls. To switch your design from a floor-standing unit to a wall-mounted unit, simply select the ‘Plinth’ button in the Jali Designer.
Choosing the right TV storage solution
Very large flat-screen TVs can be very heavy. Therefore, we would not recommend using a wall-mounted shelf unit as the only support.
If you want to place your TV on a purpose-built unit, choose our TV Unit design instead.
Strong, practical designs for modern homes
Because we build these units with substantial materials, they can easily support a large TV placed on a shelf or on top of a sideboard.
You can also customise your design even further. For example, you can extend the sides of the unit to create an inset back board. This clever feature helps hide electrical sockets, cables, and other wall obstructions behind the unit, out of sight.
