What finishes are available?

Jali offers 24 Paint Colours, Real Oak Veneer, White Primer and Plain MDF. The paint is water based and eco-friendly. Colour & Finish Details

Can I paint my furniture myself?

Of course! For the most affordable option choose plain MDF. To give yourself a head start, choose White Primer. Any paint type will do. You can use a brush, a roller or spray. For darker colours, you'll often need more than one coat. About 1-2L for a medium sized unit should be enough.

What shelving sizes do you sell?

Any! You can customise your shelving height, width and depth in the Jali designer to get the perfect fit for your home. You can create any size shelving unit up to 500mm deep, and 3 metres wide or tall.

Can I adjust the shelf heights?

Easily set shelves to evenly spaced, graduated, or set the height of each shelf individually to perfectly suit your needs.

Can I adjust the section widths?

Yes! Columns can be made with equal widths, or sized independently for maximum flexibility.

What if I want to wall mount my shelving?

If you wish to wall mount your bespoke shelving, or place it on top of other furniture, simply remove the plinth from your design. There are pre-drilled screw holes to make wall mounting as easy as possible, but depending on the wall type and intended storage capacity, you must ensure the unit is installed safely.

Are there any other style options?

While the front edges of shelving (and verticals) are typically minimal and flat, you can choose to include a 'triple bead' moulding on these instead.

How do I fix my shelving to the wall?

We will include screw holes in the back rail, so you can easily screw it in place. Depending on the wall type and intended storage capacity, you must ensure the unit is installed safely.

Can I fit my shelving to my skirting?

You can include a cut out for your room skirting. Adjust the plinth height to your skirting height, then (under Advanced and Fitting) set the cutout to your skirting depth.

Can I side mount my shelving?
